Loki – The DM

The DM is Watching

I’ve been gaming since the books had staples in their spines. Books like Chainmail.

I owned the Red Box and bought Ral Partha miniatures.

I had to use a crayon to fill in the numbers on my first sets of dice.

I dabbled in any game that came along but my heart was always in Greyhawk and Gamma World. From the early 1980s through the mid ’90s I ran a series of interlocking generational games, often involving crossovers between different campaign settings and game systems. One constant back beat to all of my games was the presence of psionics.

During that same period I saw the release of my two favorite campaign settings: Spelljammer and Planescape. The fusion of the two is my default baseline for all of the Planejammer Campaigns, no matter how many alternate realities they might eventually stumble through.

In the middle 90s I stopped gaming for awhile and started up again 2001 just before the debut of Third Edition. Since 2000 I’ve been involved with the following online projects:

What I’ve played: Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons (1st through 3.5 editions), Gamma World (1st through d20 editions), D20 Modern, GURPS, Fiasco, Champions, Marvel, DC Heroes, Villains and Vigilantes, Ars Magica, Toon, Ghostbusters, Dragonstar, Prime Directive, Amber Diceless RPG, Universe, Metamorphosis Alpha, Traveller, Theatrix, Ringworld, Vampire: Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Etherscope, Darwin’s World, Paranoia, Stomrbringer, Corum, Dr. Who, Twilight 2000, Alternity, Call of Cthulhu (multiple editions),  Rolemaster, Spacemaster, Lords of Creation, Shadowrun, Macho Women with Guns, Cyberpunk,  Star Frontiers, Boot Hill, Top Secret, Xcrawl, Space: 1889,  and Jorune.
